Kortrijk will host the Special Olympics Belgium National Games in 2025! The Ascension weekend annually marks a sporting highlight for more than 3,400 athletes with intellectual disabilities. The National Games kick off with a Torch Run, followed by an opening ceremony. Over the next three days, more than 3,400 athletes with intellectual disabilities will give their best in around 20 different sports. The athletes will compete at venues such as Sportcampus Lange Munte, SC Wembley, SC Drie Hofsteden, SC Olympiadeplein, the LAGO Kortrijk Weide swimming pool, and of course, Kortrijk Xpo.
